Lift: Jeffrey Timeza is an educational game for medical and other health professionals and students that uses a simulated encounter to teach how to help a distressed peer.

The game involves a simulated exchange with Dr. Jeffrey Timeza, a 30 year old critical care physician. You will take the role of a peer , make decisions, and experience outcomes based on the choices you make. You will be challenged to:

  • Provide psychological first aid to a colleague experiencing an adverse event or medical error related to working on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Provide peer support to a colleague who is experiencing distress related to working in the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic.
